According to data from Coinmarketcap, the total value of the global cryptocurrency market reached $2.71 trillion in the last 24 hours, marking a 3.45% increase.

Bitcoin's price has risen by more than 4.2% in the last 24 hours and now trades at $80,545 as of 0640GMT. The largest cryptocurrency also saw its weekly value gain reach 25.1%, further indicating market momentum.

Ethereum, which ranks second in terms of market value, has risen to over $2,500 with an increase of 2.3%.
