Bitcoin Reaches Price Target Low
Standard Chartered recently reaffirmed its $100,000 price target for Bitcoin.
This prediction comes after Bitcoin has experienced a significant decline of 49% from its October 2025 peak and is currently trading at around $64,000.
The financial institution attributes the current low prices to selling by Bitcoin treasury companies, which has kept a lid on the price of Bitcoin in the first half of 2026.
However, Standard Chartered remains optimistic about Bitcoin's future prospects and expects the situation around Strategy to stabilize soon.
According to the institution, inflows into Bitcoin ETFs are also returning after a period of outflows, which should help boost the price of Bitcoin going forward.
