Bitcoin Rebounds Above $63,000 Despite Strategy Sale and Suspected Coldcard Attack
Bitcoin's price rebounded above $63,000 on Tuesday after falling to an intraday low near $62,227.
The recovery came despite fresh selling disclosures from Strategy and another suspected wave of Coldcard wallet sweeps.
Strategy sold 1,638 Bitcoin for $104.7 million during the week, funding dividends and STRC repurchases.
Galaxy Research linked a fourth suspected Coldcard attack wave to 448.7 Bitcoin moving from 709 possible victim addresses.
CoinKite said fixed firmware now protects newly generated seeds, but updating a device does not repair a seed created under vulnerable firmware.
