Bitcoin's price has made a notable rebound after US President Trump announced that he would cancel planned strikes against Iran, subject to reaching a new deal. The Strait of Hormuz might be reopened soon, according to Trump.

The cryptocurrency had dipped to an 18-day low at $62,200 yesterday evening as tensions between the two countries increased again with new planned strikes.

Trump's announcement on Truth Social mentioned that the countries are working on a deal to include the immediate opening of the Hormuz Strait and an end to Iran's nuclear threat.
