Bitcoin Rebounds to Near $65,000 as Yen Strengthens

Bitcoin's price surged to near $65,000 on foreign markets, but yen-denominated prices softened due to the yen's rapid strengthening in the foreign exchange market.

As of 9:10 a.m. on the 31st, Bitcoin was trading in the upper ¥10.3 million range per BTC (approximately $64,163.66), down 0.5% over the past 24 hours.

Ethereum and XRP also traded weakly in yen-denominated terms, with Ethereum at the upper ¥300,000 range per ETH (approximately $1,868.84) and XRP at the lower ¥170 range.

The strengthening of the yen weighed on yen-denominated cryptocurrency prices, forcing domestic Japanese prices into a somewhat weak performance, in contrast to the recovery seen in dollar-denominated terms.
