Bitcoin Reclaims $63,000 as Traders Eye Hold Above Key Level
Bitcoin has regained momentum, nearing $64,000 in Asian trading hours after dipping to around $62,250 on Monday. The price increase comes despite ongoing uncertainty surrounding the Coldcard wallet sweeps that have drained hundreds of BTC.
The fourth wave of sweeps against addresses generated by the affected firmware ran through Monday, taking approximately 449 BTC from 709 addresses.
Other major cryptocurrencies mostly advanced, with BNB leading weekly gains at almost 5%, followed by Solana and Tron. Ether is still down 1% over seven days, lagging behind other majors.
Traders are watching whether Bitcoin can hold above $63,000 through the U.S. session, as a third failure to reclaim this level could indicate fewer buyers stepping in below $62,500.
