Bitcoin Reclaims $64K After Four Straight ETF Outflow Sessions
Bitcoin has regained its ground above $64,000 despite four consecutive sessions of outflows from US-listed spot exchange-traded funds (ETFs). The total net outflows reached approximately $526 million over the period, with the largest withdrawals occurring on July 24 and 23, amounting to $240 million and $225 million respectively. However, cumulative net inflows for spot Bitcoin ETFs still stand at around $51.3 billion.
The recent sell-off was short-lived, as Bitcoin's price recovered from an intraday low of approximately $62,850 to climb back above $64,000. The rebound suggests that buyers stepped in after the cryptocurrency reached its lowest level since July 17. Spot trading volumes on major exchanges have fallen significantly from their late-2024 levels.
CryptoQuant community analyst Darkfost notes that Bitcoin will require stronger demand and improving market conditions to return to a sustained bullish trend. The recent outflows followed a seven-session inflow streak that attracted nearly $1 billion in investments.
