Bitcoin Reclaims $65K as Tensions Ease and Ethereum Hits New High
Bitcoin has reclaimed the $65K level after reacting positively to news that tensions between the US and Iran have de-escalated. The price jumped above $64,000 on Saturday and continued its upward momentum into Monday morning, eventually topping out at $65,600.
The larger-cap altcoins are also in the green today, led by Ethereum which touched a 2-month high of $1,980 before retreating slightly. It's currently trading above $1,960, up 4.5% on the day.
Other notable gainers include AAVE (9%), ONDO (8%), UNI (6.5%), and LINK (4.65%). PUMP has seen a significant surge of over 11%, while SHIB has corrected after its massive rally yesterday, dipping by over 8% in the past 24 hours.
