BTC rose 2% to $80,122 on Thursday, reclaiming its spot above $80,000 for the first time since May. The surge in demand was driven by renewed interest in US Bitcoin ETFs, which have attracted over $2.6 billion over the past eight trading sessions.
Oil prices rose as Washington's statement that it is not negotiating with Iran reduced expectations of a near-term diplomatic breakthrough that could restore energy flows through the Strait of Hormuz. Brent crude gained 2.6% to $90.14 per barrel, while West Texas Intermediate rose 1.9% to $83.81.
