Bitcoin Reclaims Ground, But $100K Target Still Uncertain
Bitcoin's price has surged over 40% since its July low of approximately $57,748 to trade in the $79,000 to $81,000 range in early September.
This dramatic recovery has sparked renewed speculation about whether Bitcoin can reclaim the $100,000 mark. According to prediction markets, the probability of this happening by the end of 2026 is around 28%.
Ethereum, on the other hand, has been a quieter but more aggressive mover, appreciating roughly 56% over the same period and outperforming Bitcoin by a wide margin on a percentage basis.
Two main factors are driving this recovery: institutional capital flowing through spot Bitcoin ETFs and macroeconomic tailwinds pushing risk assets higher across traditional markets.
