Bitcoin Resistance Zone Sets Stage for Potential Breakout
Bitcoin is nearing its next major resistance zone, a crucial area between $66,600 and $68,000 that traders are watching closely. DonAlt, a trader known for accurately predicting XRP's surge from $0.50 to $3.50, has identified this zone as a key battleground in Bitcoin's short-term outlook.
In an interview, DonAlt highlighted the importance of the weekly closing price above or below this resistance level. He noted that if Bitcoin secures a close above this level, it could break out of its downtrend and potentially reach new record highs.
However, if buying fails to defend current levels, there is a risk of a pullback to $60,000. Additionally, DonAlt mentioned the possibility of a slide to $42,000 to $45,500, a key support zone, if fear grows.
DonAlt also expressed his view that Ethereum has greater potential than Bitcoin, citing its chart's recovery as faster and more clean.
