Bitcoin Rises Amid Oil Price Decline and Trump's Iran Comments
Bitcoin's price rose by over 1.4% in the last 24 hours to around $62,900 after oil prices eased following President Donald Trump's statement that Iran wants to make a deal.
In an interview aboard Air Force One, Trump said that 'They called a little while ago. They want to make a deal so badly.' He added that he wasn't sure if they were worthy of making a deal or would honor it.
Crypto analyst and MN Fund founder Michael van de Poppe believes that Bitcoin will move higher as long as it can hold above $61,000. However, retail traders on Stocktwits are divided between whether the cryptocurrency is poised to rise in the coming days or trend lower towards $50,000.
