Bitcoin Seeks $73K Break as Price Hits $64.6K
Bitcoin has made a swift move higher, accelerating from $63,300 to $64,600 after a liquidity grab. According to Michaël van de Poppe, this confirms his earlier observation of a fast price increase.
The analyst believes that once the current leg extends, Bitcoin will break through to $73,000. However, he also notes that there is a risk of profit-taking at the $65,000 resistance cluster where liquidity thins.
Currently, the price is testing the upper Bollinger resistance at $64,232.71, while the RSI(14) is flashing overbought at 71.08. This suggests that a healthy retracement to the 50-EMA support at $63,635.62 may occur before further continuation.
The MACD golden cross at 149.2 keeps the broader bullish structure intact above the 200-EMA at $63,728.55. This setup aligns with current BTC price prediction models that favor continuation once $65,000 is cleared.
