Bitcoin Seen as Big Winner in Central Bank Liquidity Expansion
BitMEX co-founder Arthur Hayes believes that Bitcoin (BTC) is poised to benefit from renewed government intervention in bond markets. Speaking on the Bitcoin Magazine podcast, Hayes argued that cryptocurrency remains the most sensitive asset to global liquidity expansion.
Hayes cited U.S. Treasury support for longer-dated bonds as a softer form of yield-curve control, signaling growing concern over high borrowing costs. He expects persistent bond-market pressure to eventually force policymakers to expand liquidity.
Hayes sees Bitcoin as the biggest beneficiary of this liquidity expansion, saying 'The most responsive asset in human history to central bank money printing is Bitcoin.' He urged investors to 'get on the fastest horse,' suggesting that Bitcoin will outperform other assets in a period of increased government intervention.
