Bitcoin Sell Wall Looms as Large ETF Inflows Raise Local Top Concerns
Bitcoin's price is facing a major sell wall around $82,000 to $83,000, which could trigger a short squeeze if broken. However, large ETF inflows have raised concerns that Bitcoin's price may be approaching a local top.
The recent rally in Bitcoin has been driven by short covering rather than new buyer demand, according to CryptoQuant. The firm reports that most of the rally's momentum came from traders liquidating and covering their shorts.
Despite this, the Bitcoin ETFs have seen significant inflows, with $730.87 million in daily inflows recorded recently. This has revived debates about a potential local top in Bitcoin's price, as similar events occurred before previous corrections.
CryptoQuant's Bull Score stands at 70, indicating that support for Bitcoin is still present at the 200-day moving average near $69,000.
