Bitcoin Selling Pressure Eases but Demand Recovery Remains Insufficient
Bitcoin's selling pressure has eased according to recent data from CryptoQuant analyst Axel Adler. The realized loss 30-day moving average peaked at $1.37 billion in February, which is a new historical high for this indicator.
This represents an increase of 19% compared to the 2022 cycle peak of $1.15 billion, and marked a record-high losses during the current bear market phase. Since then, realized Bitcoin losses have decreased by 56.5%, currently down to approximately $597 million.
Meanwhile, realized profits have only slowly recovered to $257 million, with Axel Adler noting that profit-taking sell pressure has dropped sharply but does not mean sellers are entirely exhausted nor indicate a fully recovered market demand.
