Bitcoin September Forecast Sees Median Price Target at $81,319
CryptoSlate has released its latest Bitcoin September forecast, which projects a median price of $81,319 by September 29. The forecast is based on a reference price of $77,667 and takes into account a slower pace of growth compared to the previous month's 23.5% rally.
The model used by CryptoSlate predicts a gain of about 4.7% from the current price, which is significantly lower than the August advance. The forecast also maps out a broad distribution of possible September prices, with an 80th-percentile estimate of $91,049 and a 20th-percentile estimate of $72,502.
The distance between these estimates highlights the substantial volatility that surrounds the median price target. A sustained recovery above $80,000 would strengthen the upside case, while a loss of $77,000 would weaken it. The forecast arrives with a bullish trailing trend and a central forecast whose projected gain is much smaller than August's move.
ETF flows provide another near-term signal for the strength of spot demand, which was one of the clearest sources of cash demand during the climb. A reversal in ETF inflows at the end of the week ended a nine-day US spot Bitcoin ETF inflow streak totaling about $3.04 billion.
