Bitcoin Sets Stage for Potential Sunday Pump to $63,500
Bitcoin (BTC) has caught the attention of analyst Michaël van de Poppe, who predicts a potential Sunday pump to $63,500. According to Van de Poppe's analysis, the price of Bitcoin is currently sitting inside its Bollinger Bands, with an upper resistance level at $63,663.92 and lower support at $62,691.31.
Van de Poppe notes that the bearish structure of the market keeps the EMA50 (Exponential Moving Average 50) at $63,622.76 and EMA200 at $63,680.01 as overhead resistance levels. Additionally, the neutral RSI (Relative Strength Index) is currently at 40.14, while the MACD (Moving Average Convergence Divergence) golden cross is at -211.38.
These indicators point to a short-term squeeze towards the upper band of the Bollinger Bands before any potential reversal to the $62,691.31 zone. Van de Poppe's prediction suggests that investors may see a brief surge in price on Sunday, followed by a decline on Monday.
