Analysts warn that Bitcoin short sellers are facing massive losses if the cryptocurrency reaches $70,000 again. According to CoinGlass data, a significant number of traders have taken short positions on Bitcoin, betting against its price increase.

If Bitcoin were to return to $70,000, these short sellers would face liquidations totaling $1.67 billion, with one analyst describing the amount as 'an insane amount of money'. Joshua Jake, CEO of Discover Crypto, is confident that a 7% hike in the market will lead to a 'massacre' for short sellers.

Despite this, analysts from Woobull believe that a major liquidation wipeout would actually position Bitcoin to reach new all-time highs. Michael Saylor, a well-known bull, also predicts significant price growth for Bitcoin.
