Bitcoin Short-Term Holders Back in Profit, But Exchange Inflows Signal Selling Pressure

A recent analysis by on-chain analyst Axel Adler Jr. suggests that Bitcoin's short-term holders are back in profit, but their increased exchange inflows may signal upcoming selling pressure.

The share of short-term holder supply in profit jumped to 74.9% from 26.1% on August 17, and concurrent with this increase, short-term holder exchange inflows turned positive, reaching 28,600 BTC on August 24.

This uptick in exchange inflows indicates that some of these holders may be moving coins to trading platforms, potentially to lock in profits.
