Bitcoin Short-Term Holders Remain Mostly in Profit for a Month
CryptoQuant has been monitoring the behavior of short-term Bitcoin holders and reports that they have remained mostly in profit for about a month. This is a significant signal regarding a potential bear market reversal, according to CryptoQuant.
The duration of short-term holders (STH) staying in the profit zone has lengthened compared to previous periods. In January, profits were only sustained for less than a week, while in May losses dominated. However, current data shows that STHs' profits are around $168.2 billion, while losses are at the $102.6 billion level.
CryptoQuant points out that there is a correlation between short-term holders consistently remaining in profit and the end of bear markets. In the past, every profit period created short-term selling opportunities, which led to increased selling pressure and capitulation when transitions back into the loss zone occurred.
