Bitcoin Slips 0.17%, Altcoins Show Resilience Amid Market Volatility
The cryptocurrency market has shown mostly weak dynamics over the past 24 hours. Bitcoin, the largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization, lost 0.17% in value and fell to $64,101.90.
Other major cryptocurrencies also experienced fluctuations, with Ethereum down 0.05%, XRP down 0.68%, BNB down 0.03%, and Tether (USDT) up 0.08%. Solana and Dogecoin, however, showed slight growth, rising by 0.04% and 0.46% respectively.
Despite the mixed performance of leading cryptocurrencies, some altcoins managed to stay in the green. This indicates that targeted purchases in certain assets can help mitigate losses in a declining market.
Analysts point to several factors contributing to the uneven price movement, including expectations regarding the US Federal Reserve's interest rate policy, profit-taking after previous market movements, decreased risk appetite in global financial markets, and technological news around major blockchain projects.
