Bitcoin Slumps 4%, Ether Sees Two-Month High Amid Cryptocurrency Volatility
Cryptocurrency prices continue to fluctuate, and Bitcoin is no exception. This week, it dropped nearly 4% in value, marking its lowest point since October 2025. Over the year, BTC has fallen approximately 27%, sitting about 49% below its record high.
Ether, on the other hand, has shown signs of recovery. Its closing price reached a two-month high this week, but it still lags behind, down roughly 35% year-to-date and 60% below its August 2025 record close.
XRP, owned by Ripple, also saw some movement but remains largely unchanged in the market share stakes.
