Bitcoin Slumps as US Jobs Report Brings Cryptocurrency Market Down
Bitcoin's price took a significant hit after the US jobs report came out on Friday, plummeting from an all-time high of $82,400 to just under $79,000.
The stronger-than-expected job numbers led to a swift reaction in the cryptocurrency market, with Bitcoin losing over $3,000 in value.
However, it has since rebounded and is currently trading at around $79,600, with its dominance over altcoins retreating slightly to 59.45%.
In other news, PONS continues to be the star of the altcoin space, surging by an impressive 30% in the past 24 hours to a new all-time high of almost $0.90.
