Bitcoin Slumps to 9-Day Low as XRP Bounces Back from Sub-$1 Dip
The Bitcoin price has hit a 9-day low of $63,200 after struggling to break through the $65,400 resistance level it encountered earlier in the week. This correction is part of a larger trend that saw the primary cryptocurrency's market capitalization stall at $1.280 trillion on CoinGecko (CG), and its dominance over altcoins dip below 57%.
Ripple's XRP has rebounded from its dip below $1.00 for the first time in nearly two years, reaching a current price of $1.02. Analysts are divided on whether this rebound represents a hidden accumulation opportunity or a warning sign of a larger downturn.
Uniswap's UNI has taken the biggest hit among altcoins over the past 24 hours, plummeting by over 10% in value to $3.55. Other notable losers include PUMP, which dropped 7%, and HYPE, ADA, and ZEC, all of which are trading in the red.
Despite these losses, some larger-cap altcoins such as ETH, BNB, TRX, SOL, DOGE, RAIN, XMR, and LINK have managed to stay slightly in the green on a daily scale. The total crypto market cap remains at $2.250 trillion on CG.
