Bitcoin Slumps Under Macro Pressure as Investors Flock to Utility Presales
A recent wave of macroeconomic pressure has hit the digital asset markets, causing Bitcoin to slip 0.9% on September 11, 2026, and 4.3% on the week, trading at approximately $77,200.
Ethereum managed to stabilize daily but remains down 1.6% over the seven-day period at $2,470, while Solana dropped 1.1% over 24 hours to hover near $100, marking a 3.7% weekly decline.
The total cryptocurrency market capitalization was shaved 0.9% off its value, bringing it down to $2.63 trillion, as traders have now priced in a 69.6% probability of a quarter-point rate hike in September and an implied probability of an additional hike in October climbing to 54.3%.
The Federal Reserve's upcoming meeting on Wednesday, September 16, will be closely watched as the market adjusts to a more hawkish stance.
Meanwhile, investors are increasingly turning to early-stage utility presales, such as LiquidChain (LIQUID), which is resolving the persistent liquidity fragmentation across major Layer 1 networks using trust-minimized state proofs and a Solana-class virtual machine for sub-second execution.
