Bitcoin Smashes All-Time High as Price Rockets 10%
Bitcoin has surged to new heights, reaching an all-time high of $78,961.4 on Friday, according to data from Investing.com. The price increase represents a gain of 10.29% over the past 24 hours and is the largest one-day percentage rise since February 6.
The move upwards has also boosted Bitcoin's market capitalization to $1.556.2 billion, accounting for 59.99% of the total cryptocurrency market cap. At its peak, Bitcoin's market cap reached as high as $2.488.1 billion.
Over the past seven days, Bitcoin has seen a significant rise in value, gaining 23.48%. The volume of Bitcoin traded over the past 24 hours was $61.7 billion, representing 43% of all cryptocurrency trading volume.
