Bitcoin Soars Above $63,800 as Short Squeeze Fuels Crypto Rally
The price of Bitcoin has surged above $63,800 as a derivatives-driven short squeeze fueled a rally in the cryptocurrency market.
This move represents a 1.71% increase over the past 24 hours and comes despite the broader crypto market experiencing relatively stagnant growth.
The key driver behind this surge is the liquidation of over $75.5 million in Bitcoin positions, with shorts accounting for 65% of the total.
The improving market sentiment and optimism surrounding the proposed ARMA Act have also contributed to the rebound.
However, analysts are keeping a close eye on the $63,183 support level, as well as the next key resistance at $64,100, ahead of the upcoming U.S. Nonfarm Payrolls report scheduled for August 7.
