Bitcoin Soars Above $65K as War Tensions Ease
Bitcoin's price rebounded on Monday morning, reaching over $65,000 for the first time since Friday. This comes after a de-escalation of war news from the weekend, which had minimal immediate reaction but was priced on Monday morning.
The largest altcoin, Ethereum, also saw significant gains, hitting a 2-month high near $2,000 and retreating slightly to $1,964.41. Other notable gainers among larger-cap alts include AAVE, ONDO, UNI, and LINK.
Bitcoin's market capitalization has reclaimed the $1.3 trillion mark, while its dominance over alts remains just shy of 57%. The cryptocurrency rallied hard last week but couldn't sustain momentum, dipping to under $65,000 before rebounding on Friday.
