Bitcoin Soars Past $81,000 on Easing Rate Hike Fears and Strong ETF Demand
Bitcoin (BTC) has broken above $81,000 as rate hike fears continue to ease. The move comes after Federal Reserve Governor Christopher Waller's comments that he favors keeping rates steady, partly depending on cooling inflation data.
The shift in monetary policy expectations has led to a decline in U.S. Treasury yields, which often improves conditions for riskier assets like Bitcoin.
Strong demand for spot Bitcoin ETFs has also contributed to the recovery, with net inflows reaching $730.9 million, an eight-month high.
Analysts see $83,000 as a key resistance level, and breaking above it could strengthen Bitcoin's bullish outlook.
