Bitcoin Soars to Three-Month High as Institutional Demand Surges

Bitcoin has reached its highest level in almost three months, surpassing $81,000 on Tuesday. The rally was driven by increased institutional demand, enhanced cryptocurrency sentiment, and positive macroeconomic conditions.

The surge in price was preceded by a significant increase in spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs), with net inflows of $338 million on August 24. BlackRock's IBIT contributed the largest amount, with $209 million. This influx of capital helped fuel the rally and push Bitcoin's market cap up by over $350 billion.

Despite a pullback below $80,000, Bitcoin has erased three months of losses and remains higher during August. The asset has also climbed approximately 28% in just eight days, with its weekly gain being the second largest of the past five years.

Looking ahead, analysts predict that Bitcoin could reach $85,000 if it can break through the current resistance at $80,000. However, a decline below $75,000 could undermine the bullish formation and lead to further correction.
