Bitcoin Soars to Three-Month High, Fueling Crypto Stock Rally
Crypto stocks surged on Thursday as Bitcoin reached its highest level in three months. The world's largest cryptocurrency rose 4.8% to $81,105.73.
This rally comes after U.S. President Donald Trump urged Congress to pass a crypto bill. The Treasury Department also supported long-dated bonds.
Crypto exchange Coinbase Global jumped 10.6%, while Strategy, a bitcoin-focused company, gained 15%. Robinhood Markets, a trading platform, rose 16.3%, and Webull added 12%.
Cryptocurrency mining companies also posted gains, with Riot Platforms climbing 11.4%, Mara Holdings rising 10%, and Bit Digital increasing 15.8%. American Bitcoin, backed by the two eldest sons of President Trump, surged 18.4%.
