Bitcoin Spot ETF Inflows Stopped at Nine Consecutive Sessions
The streak of consecutive net inflows into Bitcoin spot ETFs has come to an end. According to Decrypt, the nine-session flow turned negative on August 28, with approximately $201.9 million exiting the funds.
This represents a minor outflow compared to the cumulative inflows since the products launched, which have reached billions of dollars.
Analysts suggest that single-day outflows are common in any mature investment vehicle and do not necessarily indicate a change in long-term positioning.
The report also notes that Ethereum ETFs have continued to see net inflows, suggesting that institutions may be diversifying their crypto exposure beyond Bitcoin.
