Bitcoin Spot ETFs Draw Record $1.61B in Five Days
Bitcoin's spot ETFs have attracted massive inflows over the past five trading days. According to recent data, these funds have seen a total of $1.61 billion in positive net flows. This is particularly evident on August 20, when BlackRock's IBIT led the charge with an astonishing $503 million influx.
It's worth noting that while this figure might seem staggering, it's essential to consider that August 21's data is still partial. Nonetheless, Bitcoin's price has been impacted by these developments, trading at a current value of $78,810.61 within its established Bollinger Bands range.
The analysis suggests that the upper resistance level for Bitcoin currently stands at $81,218.82, while lower support resides at $61,911.99. Furthermore, technical indicators show that the 4-hour structure features an EMA50 of $68,649.97 and an EMA200 of $65,388.37.
With Bitcoin's price testing the upper Bollinger resistance level, combined with a Relative Strength Index (RSI) reading of 88.83, which indicates overbought conditions, it appears increasingly likely that a healthy retracement to the 50-EMA support is imminent. This could pave the way for further continuation and reinforce institutional crypto adoption.
