Bitcoin Spot ETFs Extend Net Inflows Streak to 7 Sessions, August Tally Tops $3 Billion
Bitcoin spot exchange-traded funds (ETFs) have continued their streak of net inflows, marking seven consecutive sessions. According to Sosovalue data, these ETFs recorded $314.37 million in net inflows on August 25, bringing the cumulative total for August to a substantial $3.03 billion.
This marks a significant recovery from earlier this year, with year-to-date net outflows falling to $2.26 billion. Total net assets now stand at $99.05 billion, while cumulative net inflows since launch have reached $54.36 billion.
While these ETF inflows are a positive sign for the market, it's essential to note that they do not directly translate to price gains. The Crypto Fear & Greed Index briefly dipped to 65 on August 26 but has since stabilized around 81, indicating 'greed' sentiment remains high.
Ethereum spot ETFs also saw net inflows of $179.80 million on August 25, marking a seventh consecutive session. With approximately $1 billion in total inflows over the past seven sessions, this suggests a broader recovery in crypto ETF investment demand, regardless of short-term price fluctuations.
