Bitcoin Spot ETFs Rebound, But Year-to-Date Outflows Reach $5.3B
Bitcoin spot exchange-traded funds (ETFs) recorded net inflows of $172.4 million in July, marking a rebound after two straight months of outflows in May and June.
Data compiled by SoSoValue showed that about $7 billion left the market over those two months, including $4.5 billion in net outflows in June, the largest monthly outflow this year.
However, selling pressure increased again at the end of July, with Bitcoin spot ETFs experiencing net outflows of $265.4 million on July 31 alone, the biggest daily outflow since July 13.
The year-to-date trend remains weaker, with about $5.3 billion in net outflows so far in 2026. Only March, April, and July saw net inflows, totaling $3.46 billion.
Cumulative inflows since launch have held up, however, with $51.32 billion in cumulative net inflows since the launch of Bitcoin spot ETFs. Total net assets stood at $76.29 billion as of the end of July.
