Bitcoin Spot ETFs Rebound with $101M Inflows Amid Altcoin Outflows
US spot Bitcoin ETFs saw significant inflows last week, rebounding from a previous outflow. On September 2, these funds attracted $101.15 million in new capital, compared to an outflow of $236.5 million the day before.
BlackRock's IBIT led the way with $115.45 million in new investment, while Grayscale's GBTC continued to experience significant outflows as investors shifted to lower-fee alternatives.
The spot ETFs for Ethereum (ETH), Solana (SOL), and XRP all recorded net outflows, indicating a focused institutional interest in Bitcoin rather than altcoins. Since their debut in January 2024, US spot Bitcoin ETFs have accumulated about $54.7 billion in net inflows, with August 2026 being the strongest month so far.
