Bitcoin Stabilizes Near $64,000 as US-Iran Talks Progress
Bitcoin's price has stabilized near $64,196 as investors await developments on a potential US-Iran agreement to reopen the Strait of Hormuz. President Donald Trump said negotiations with Iran are progressing well and that the strait 'is going to be open very soon.'
Oil prices declined as traders priced in the possibility of resuming shipping through the strait, while equity markets strengthened on easing energy supply concerns.
The US-Iran talks have improved risk sentiment, but Iranian state media reported that any agreement could face delays if the United States continues issuing military threats.
Bitcoin has been supported by institutional inflows, with U.S. spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds recording more than $170 million in net inflows during the latest trading session, led by BlackRock's IBIT accounting for approximately $111.4 million of that total.
