Bitcoin Stabilizes Near $78,000 Amid Rising Oil Prices and Yields
Bitcoin stabilized near $78,000 after its 24% gain in August. Higher oil prices and rising U.S. Treasury yields are weighing on sentiment toward risk assets. Brent crude rose about 1% to near $91 a barrel, while the yield on the U.S. 10-year Treasury climbed to 4.78%. This pressure is limiting further gains for Bitcoin.
Despite this, demand for U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs continues to support prices. However, the end of the inflow streak and resistance near $82,000 leave the market without a clear short-term direction. Traders are watching whether a stronger-than-expected August jobs report will push Treasury yields higher and send Bitcoin back to test its recent low near $77,200.
