Bitcoin Stagnates as Analyst Predicts Two-Month Price Freeze
Crypto analyst Benjamin Cowen has made some striking predictions about the future of Bitcoin and altcoin prices. According to him, we are currently in a bear market that is expected to last approximately 12 months.
The price of Bitcoin is stuck between its 200-week moving average and the bear market resistance band, with low volume trading around $62,000 to $63,000. Cowen points out that this situation has created unease among investors due to the stagnation of Bitcoin despite US stock indices hitting new records.
The analyst also notes that market volatility has fallen to historically low levels, with a 60-day volatility rate of 1.47%. However, he expects a significant increase in volatility in the coming weeks, which could lead to sharp price movements.
Cowen believes that we are currently in the 10th month of this bear market and suggests that investors should 'hang in there for two more months'. He is optimistic about the future of the sector, arguing that a new bull market could begin after the approaching bottom of the cycle.
