Bitcoin's price has been trying to break through the $65,000 level for several days now. It first attempted to reach this milestone last Monday but was halted at $65,600 twice. After a significant drop, it tried again on Friday but stopped at $65,400. The cryptocurrency fell to $62,200 over the weekend but rebounded on Sunday after US President Trump's announcement of canceled strikes against Iran.

Bitcoin has been fighting for the $64,000 level for 24-36 hours now and seems to have reclaimed it as of this morning. Its market cap has touched $1.3 trillion, while its dominance over altcoins remains below 57% on CG.

The altcoin market is seeing some movement, with Pi Network's native token leading the charge. It exploded by 15% at one point to a three-week peak before it was halted. GT and BDX follow suit in terms of daily gains. Ethereum has also risen above $1,900 after a 2.2% daily increase.
