Bitcoin Stalls at $80,000 Amid Market Volatility
Bitcoin's price has been holding steady near $80,000 as the market navigates strong volatility and shifting expectations about US interest rates. Despite a significant drop of almost $3,000 over the period, Bitcoin managed to recover some ground and remained near its target for much of the weekend.
The cryptocurrency had reached an all-time high of $82,400 during the week, but was unable to sustain its momentum. However, it did manage to bounce back from a low of $76,500, where buyers helped initiate a strong recovery.
Not all cryptocurrencies have been as resilient, however. Arbitrum's ARB token surged by 42% in just one day and surpassed $0.19, while Zcash (ZEC) posted a daily gain of 17%, taking it close to $1,200 for the first time in almost a decade.
