Bitcoin Stalls at $80,000 Resistance Ahead of Fed Decision
Bitcoin's bid to break through the $80,000 resistance level was unsuccessful on September 11 as US stocks climbed around 1% and long-dated Treasury yields stayed near historic highs.
The cryptocurrency reached an intraday high of $79,890 but fell short of the key resistance zone identified by digital asset trading firm QCP.
Despite this setback, experts caution that it's too early to say whether Bitcoin has decoupled from macro conditions or if sellers around $80,000 are becoming a dominant force in the market.
The 10-year yield briefly touched 4.9915%, its highest level in almost three years, while the 30-year reached 5.424%, a 19-year high.
