Bitcoin Stalls at Key Resistance Level as Ethereum Gains Momentum
Bitcoin hovered near $65,000 on Saturday, but was capped by a key resistance level that's limiting further upside. The flagship cryptocurrency was trading at $64,961, while Ethereum gained momentum and reached around $1,915.
Over the past 24 hours, Bitcoin gained 1.05% and Ethereum rose 0.55%. Major altcoins such as BNB, XRP, Solana, Tron, and Dogecoin also saw significant gains, up to 2.46%, while Hyperliquid and Cardano declined by 2.48% and 1.14%, respectively.
Riya Sehgal, a research analyst at Delta Exchange, noted that Bitcoin is facing resistance in the $65,000-$65,600 range, which would need to be broken for further gains. She also observed that Ethereum has relatively better momentum, with resistance near $1,920 and then $1,950.
