Bitcoin Stalls Below $81K Resistance Amid Whale Accumulation
Bitcoin's price has stalled below the $81,000 resistance area after failing to hold above it. The cryptocurrency traded near $78,200 on August 30, with CoinMarketCap data showing a roughly flat 24-hour period.
The short-term structure of Bitcoin remains capped, and analysts are watching the $74,000 liquidity level before another attempt to break above $81,000. Whale accumulation has countered short-term weakness, with over 39,154 BTC worth more than $3 billion being accumulated during the previous week.
TradingView's Bitstamp BTC/USD chart shows a sharp intraday recovery towards $78,700 but price stalled below the recent local high. The asset remains between two liquidation areas, with upside liquidity between $80,000 and $83,000 and downside liquidity between $74,000 and $77,000.
