Bitcoin Stalls Near $63K Amid Regulatory Delays
Bitcoin's price has stalled around $63,000 due to delays in US crypto regulation and significant outflows from US spot Bitcoin ETFs. The US Senate postponed the Digital Asset Market Clarity Act, a key bill aimed at clarifying crypto market rules, until September. This delay creates uncertainty as elections approach.
The SEC also canceled a meeting that was expected to start formal crypto-specific regulatory discussions, further dampening investor confidence and limiting Bitcoin's recovery after its recent drop from $65,000.
Regulatory setbacks combined with $389.7 million in ETF outflows last week have weighed on the market.
