Bitcoin Stalls Near $65K Amid US Jobs Report Uncertainty
Bitcoin traded near $65K on Monday after a weaker-than-expected US jobs report led to reduced expectations of Federal Reserve tightening.
The world's largest cryptocurrency rose 0.4% to $65,159.4 as traders awaited US inflation data and monitored Middle East developments.
The move above $65,000 was driven by the softer labor market data, which included a 23,000 drop in July payrolls and downward revisions for May and June.
Analysts noted that a decisive break higher could open the way toward the $66,000-$67,000 resistance zone, while a failure to hold current levels may leave Bitcoin exposed to renewed profit-taking.
