Bitcoin Streak Faces Crucial US Report Test
As Bitcoin's $2.5 billion ETF inflow streak faces its first real test, three critical US reports are set to be released simultaneously at 8:30 a.m. ET on August 26.
The reports include the U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis's July Personal Income and Outlays, including the PCE inflation indexes, alongside its second estimate of second-quarter GDP. The U.S. Census Bureau will also release July advance durable-goods orders at the same time.
According to CryptoSlate's Bitcoin market data, BTC was trading near $78,508 as of August 26, down about 2% over 24 hours but still up roughly 22.8% over seven days.
The ETF inflow streak is notable, with Farside Investors' daily table showing seven consecutive positive U.S. spot Bitcoin ETF sessions from August 17 through August 25. The total net inflows during this period amount to $2.5697 billion.
