Bitcoin Stuck at $78K as Uniswap Surges Nearly 32%
Bitcoin (BTC) has been stuck between $77,000 and $79,000 for several days after initially dipping below $77,000 on Monday morning following new strikes in the Middle East. The price surge past $81,000 earlier this month was halted by bears, and subsequent losses were erased only to see another nosedive on Friday. This week's recovery attempt has resulted in a minor increase to $79,000.
However, the resumed strikes between the US and Iran led to a dip back down to $77,000 before the price rebounded to its current range of $78,000. Bitcoin's market capitalization remains stagnant at $1.560 trillion on CG, while its dominance over alts is at just under 58%.
In contrast to BTC's stable price action, Uniswap's native token (UNI) has been a top performer, surging by another 10% daily and nearly 32% weekly to a multi-month peak of almost $6.00 before retracing to the current $5.65. Other notable gains come from RAIN and NEAR, both up around 4%, while HYPE is up over 2%. CRV and ARB have also made significant gains, rocketing by 15% and 24% daily respectively.
