Bitcoin Stuck Below $64K as Crypto Market Struggles
Bitcoin's recent rally came to an abrupt end as it plummeted below $64,000 over the weekend. The asset had surged to a high of $67,000 earlier in the week but failed to maintain its momentum.
The price drop was likely triggered by US President Trump's warning about new tariffs on the EU, which led to a sell-off in cryptocurrencies. Bitcoin has struggled to recover since then and remains stuck at around $64,000 as of press time.
Other larger-cap altcoins are also in the red, with Ethereum (ETH) slipping to $1,850 and XRP fighting for its $1.10 support level. Zcash (ZEC) has dropped even further, breaking below the $500 mark.
